At my stay in Staffordshire University (many year ago) UK, I found it annoying not to have an analog clock on the wall and therefore decided to create one in Flash. I made it into a screensaver and thereby utilized the 24/7 online laptop power usage to something good. Many of my fellow students also installed this virtual clock.
A black and white version are available. The former for those people spending most their time up when others sleep. The latter for the day people.
